MISSIONS STATEMENT

                                                 South Africa "Kristy"       Ladies Recovery Class          Africa Trip 2008

        Our lord gave to the church the great commission, which tells us to make disciples of all nations to baptize them and teach them all that He had commanded.  At Mt. Moriah we are always looking for ways to fulfill that commission.  Because of our love for Him and His command to us to share the gospel we seek to reach out and meet the needs of others in His name.

        We have men's group and a woman's group that serve as the two main mission groups of our church.  But look close at the youth and children groups and you will find them doing mission work as well.

        We support the Marshall County Hispanic ministry and its pastor.  We also work with the   Pregnancy Resource Center of Lewisburg.  We are apart of the New Duck River Baptist Association as well as the Southern Baptist convention.  We also work with Buffalo Valley, which is a drug treatment center in Lewisburg.  We bring them to church and offer to them a support group to aid in their recovery.
